What can you expect from our Terrain Park Team this 2024/2025 Season?

This year we are focusing on including a more all-around performance park, while still maintaining the strong building blocks with progressional terrain park features to allow our freestyle team to be the best they can be. There will also be a variety of snow features, all the way from flowing bumps and jumps and hips to ski/boarder cross turns and technical rhythm sections. Allowing more variety of terrain opens up more room for improving our ridership as a Club.

New Feature

We will have a new custom Junior tube feature in the terrain park. It's a replica of our current Junior tube but longer allowing our athletes to progress their rail sliding ability while still performing on a low-risk feature.

Changes to Expect

Our Orchard Terrain Park Hut will be getting a makeover this year. Repping our very own Osler blue and orange, you won’t be able to miss it as you make your way down Orchard Pass. Keep your eyes out for the changes in the half pipe this winter as our team has made some changes with the earth works giving us more potential for fun on the way down.

New Events

We are very excited to introduce two new events to Osler members this year, taking place in the Orchard Terrain Park.

  • Banked Slalom Course which will have a variety of gates set over big, cambered turns. The fastest to make it through the gates successfully and down the course wins.
  •  Speed and Style Course where freeride meets ski/snowboard cross. This event isn’t just about speed but about bringing your own style over the jumps and other snow-made features as you make your way down the course.

Opening Dates and Build Initiatives

  •  Marshall Terrain Park will be open for Christmas
  • Rattler will be open by January 4th
  • Orchard Terrain Park January 25th
All above dates are sooner than Osler Terrain Parks have ever opened.

Introducing our daytime build initiative this coming winter season.
