Friends of Osler Program
We are thrilled to invite members to sponsor a guest this summer through our new Friends of Osler
trial
program. We are looking for 75 people to participate in this exclusive opportunity!
This special program allows your guest to enjoy unaccompanied access to a wide range of Osler amenities and experiences unavailable to the general public.
Summer Benefits
(June 15 - October 12)
Access to
newly
resurfaced tennis and pickleball courts
Basketball and volleyball courts
Pool access (Note: some restrictions apply), towel service, and tuck shop

mountain biking trail network and hiking trails

What is the Friends of Osler Program?
In keeping with our four-season strategic plan, The Friends of Osler program is a trial program where members can sponsor a guest in the summer. The program allows non-member unaccompanied access to a wide range of Osler amenities and experiences that are unavailable to the general public.
What benefits and access to which amenities do Friends of Osler receive?

Application Form
Can I use the facilities and participate in the winter social events during the winter season?
No. The Friends of Osler Program runs from June 15 to October 12, 2025.
How do I access the Summer Club and do I have to sign in upon arrival?
This summer, all access to Club facilities will be through the wooden gate on the east side of the building, near the tennis courts. This applies to members, guests, and Friends of Osler alike.
Please check in with the attendant at the hut upon arrival.
Can I sign my kids up for Summer Camps?
Yes, at an additional fee. See below:

Can I take tennis, swimming, and pickleball lessons?
Yes, based on availability. You will need to book through the lessons desk or Summer Club Attendant. There is an additional charge for lessons
Will I have access to the member side of the website?
Yes. Once you have been accepted into the program, login credentials will be provided.
Will I have access to the Club's App?
Yes. Once you have been accepted into the program, login credentials will be provided.
Guests
Can a Friend of Osler sign in a guest to use the facilities during the summer?
Guest can use the facilities while accompanied by a Friends of Osler participant. Some restrictions apply during holiday weekends and Saturdays.
What does a Guest Pass include?
Use of a towel, the pool, bike pump track, and volleyball courts.
Can guests take tennis, swimming, and pickleball lessons?
Yes. We do advise the member book a lesson prior to the day of via our online software. Guests are welcome to inquire day of, however we cannot guarantee instructor availability. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Can guests sign up for programs?
Yes, based on availability.
Can guests sign up for kids' camps?
Yes, members are welcome to register guests for our summer camps.
How does a guest pay?
Unless otherwise indicated, all guest fees will be charged to the sponsoring member’s account. Guests can pay with credit or debit cards for day passes and lessons at the Summer Club if they don’t want it to be charged to the sponsoring member’s account.
Pool
What are the hours of the pool and when does it open?
Opening weekend for the pool will be June 7

. The pool hours will be 10:00am to 8:00pm. Please note that the weekend of June 7

and daily from then on, from 10:00am to 12:00pm daily, the pool is a Class B pool meaning it is unsupervised. Bathers under twelve years of age are not allowed within the pool enclosure unless accompanied by a parent or his or her agent who is not less than sixteen years of age
Will the pool have lifeguards?

there will be lifeguards from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. From June 28

onward, we will have a lifeguard on duty daily from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
How does towel service at the pool work?
Towel service will be available to Friends of Osler members. There will be a towel card provided for each member. Upon visiting the pool, this card will be turned into the attendant for one towel per card turned in. When you bring the towel back to the attendant at the end of your day, you will be given back your card for your next visit.
Tennis
What are the hours of the tennis courts and when do they open?
The tennis courts will be open 9:00am to 9:00pm. Opening weekend will be XXXXXXX
How do I go about reserving the tennis courts?
Friends of Osler program participants can sign up online 14 days in advance.
Pickleball
What are the hours of the Pickleball courts and when do they open?
The pickleball courts will be open 9:00am to 9:00pm. Opening weekend will be XXXXXX
How do I go about reserving the pickleball courts?
Friends of Osler members can sign up online 14 days in advance.
Does the club have pickleball racquets for use and do they cost something to use?
The club does have pickleball paddles and balls available for rent. They can be signed out via our attendant at the pool area. Rental fee per paddle is $5+HST.
Paddleboards/Kayaks
What is the process for signing out paddleboards and kayaks?
To reserve a kayak or paddleboard, please see our Summer Club attendant to receive your life jacket, paddle and key to access the equipment at the reservoir. Kayaks and paddleboards will be available at the Upper Reservoir. They are available on a first come first serve basis.
Do you have to wear a life jacket when paddleboarding or kayaking?
Yes. Life jackets are mandatory.
How do I sign our the paddle and life jacket?
Please see our Summer Club Attendant.
How do I get to the Upper Reservoir?
Part of the experience and enjoyment at the Upper Reservoir is the hike up. There is no transportation available. No motor vehicle access.
Fitness
Are the fitness programs included in the Friends of Osler program?
Fitness classes are included. We do advise registering in advance. If there is no one signed up for the class 48 hours prior, the class will be cancelled.
When will the fitness classes and registration open?
Fitness classes will begin June 17th. Registration will open XXXXXXX

If the weather is bad, how will we know if the pool/courts are open?
If the weather is inclement enough to cause closures, there will be a push notification sent out on the Osler App.
