Osler members may combine business with pleasure by entertaining associates and friends, thanking clients, or treating their employees with a mid-week getaway to a unique skiing experience.
Osler Bluff Ski Club is a private club for members and guests only. All of our midweek groups and guests are introduced to the Club by a member, which limits the daily number of skiers and snowboarders. This guarantees shorter lift lines, more space on the hill and superior snow conditions.
Our vertical drop of 743 feet is among the greatest in Ontario, providing some of the longest runs from beginner to expert and the most skiable acreage of all Ontario private clubs. Four lifts, including two high-speed quad chairs, whisk you to a breathtaking view of beautiful Georgian Bay to start each run. Snowboarders enjoy a terrain park that boasts a full-size competition half-pipe 450 feet long. Snowmaking services 90% of the skiable property and state-of-the-art groomers work long into the night to create optimum snow conditions. Over 12 km of marked cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails also wind through the Club's property.
The experience doesn't start and end with skiing. Any of our three lodges provide guests with service and comfort.
The beautiful post and beam construction of our Main Clubhouse offers a panoramic view of the slopes from two dining levels. A separate area at the north end of the deck is available for larger groups. The lower level has boot changing facilities and a lounge for the groups that require their own space. The Orchard Lodge is located at the base of the Exhibition Chair, with food service, restrooms, boot changing and its own parking. It’s an ideal location for a large group that wishes its own privacy.
The quaint and rustic log structure, known as the Upper Chalet, is located at the top of the Clubhouse High-Speed Quad Chair. Heated by a large fireplace and three wood stoves, the Upper Chalet provides food service and restrooms, in an ambiance reminiscent of years gone by.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier or boarder, lessons make the sport easier and more enjoyable. Our Ski and Snowboard School offers a complete range of ski and snowboard lessons by our own certified instructors. Lessons must be prearranged prior to your arrival to guarantee availability.
Midweek groups can enjoy some friendly competition by booking your own private race. Private race requests must be made at the time of booking your midweek day.
Rental equipment is available at the on-site Squire John’s Ski Shop and must be reserved two weeks in advance to ensure availability. Reservations are made directly through the Squire John’s Ski Shop’s website; the mid week group co-ordinator will be provided with this information.
Our catering service will provide a lunch menu choice to suit your group, including the very poplar buffet. Après-ski hors d’oeuvres can be arranged, as well as evening meals. All food is professionally prepared in our own kitchens.
Our staff will be happy to help make all arrangements for your group, from snow equipment rentals to your catering requirements. Consult your calendar now and reserve your date with our Mid-Week Coordinator by email or by calling (705) 445-4507.
Please be ready with the following information when booking: preferred date of event, number of attendees and the Club member sponsoring your group. Our days fill up quickly, so call early to avoid disappointment.
